We were having a problem with different teams in the organization using different versions of logos, not using proper PowerPoint templates, not using proper colors, etc.. To cure this, my manager decided to have me create a branding guide for the company.
I had never created one in the past so I did some research online to see what should be included. After it was all said and done we ended up distributing this 30 page guide that covers: messaging, services, culture, logo use, visual identity, branded materials, editorial voice, and other resources.
